Iran holds media ceremony to honor Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei
On 4 Mordad 1405 (July 26, 2026), a ceremony was held at the Cultural Complex of the Martyrs of the Islamic Revolution (Sarcheshmeh) to commemorate the martyrdom of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The event, organised for media personnel, featured speeches by Hadi Tahannazif, member of the Guardian Council, and Hujjat al‑Islam Mohammad Qomi, head of the Islamic Propagation Organization, alongside other officials.
Speakers stressed that more than 140 days after the leader’s death, the Iranian people continue to uphold revolutionary ideals, territorial integrity and national dignity. They called for renewed commitment from both the public and officials to pursue the goals of the Islamic Revolution. Attendees also included Gholamali Haddad Adel, head of the Persian Language and Literature Academy, and Mehdï Fazaili of the Leader’s Preservation Office, who highlighted the leader’s legacy and the role of media in shaping public perception.
