Iran inaugurates major economic and aviation infrastructure projects
In celebration of Government Week, several major infrastructure and economic projects have been inaugurated in Iran. In Asaluyeh, Bushehr Province, over 300 civil and economic projects have commenced operations with an investment exceeding 80 trillion tomans. The Governor of Bushehr emphasized Asaluyeh’s role as a vital industrial and economic hub for the national economy.
Simultaneously, developments at Kish International Airport include plans to increase flight frequencies and expand fuel storage capacity from 600,000 liters to 4 million liters. The airport’s runway is noted for its ability to accommodate A380 aircraft. Other advancements include the unveiling of the country’s first Boeing 737 flight simulator at the airport, the establishment of a private civilian heliport, and expanded apron capacity to support aircraft maintenance and specialized aviation services.
