Iran inaugurates various regional infrastructure and agricultural projects
In observance of Government Week, various provinces across Iran have inaugurated numerous infrastructure, agricultural, and utility projects aimed at regional development and improved public services.
In Bushehr, 72 agricultural projects worth over 1,940 billion tomans were launched, with more than 85 percent of the investment provided by the private sector. Key developments include date palm harvesting and shrimp farming, with shrimp production expected to reach 35,000 to 40,000 tons.
In Kurdistan, significant investments were made in education and transportation. This includes the opening of a new school in Qorveh and the completion of a 15 billion toman rural road project in Sanandaj. Additionally, the budget for doubling the Bijar-Zanjan highway has increased to over 900 billion tomans.
Khuzestan province also saw major utility advancements, including water supply and urban infrastructure projects in Izeh and Karun. In Tehran province, approximately 100 urban and developmental projects were inaugurated in Pakdasht, with ongoing efforts to complete the South Ring Road.
