Iran increases coupon credits for 11 million vulnerable citizens

The Iranian Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare has announced an additional 500,000 toman increase in coupon credits for approximately 11 million people. This follows an initial credit of 1 million toman deposited on October 7.

The additional funds target vulnerable households covered by the State Welfare Organization and the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation. To ensure continued receipt of these increased credits, eligible individuals have a three-month window to complete a self-declaration form via the ‘My Government’ (My.gov.ir) national portal.

For those under the coverage of the Relief Foundation and Welfare Organization who did not receive the initial credit, officials have provided a one-week window to submit self-declaration forms for status and eligibility review. The government has indicated that further increases for other vulnerable groups may be considered in the future, subject to the allocation of necessary resources.
