Iran international flight routes face disruptions and cancellations

Several international flight routes from Iran have been disrupted. Flights to Georgia, Oman, and Azerbaijan have been cancelled. In Iraq, services at Baghdad airport to Iranian airlines have been suspended, though flights to Najaf remain operational and continue without interruption.

Regarding travel to Turkey, Mahan Air has temporarily suspended its flights, but other Iranian airlines continue to operate to various destinations, including Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. Officials noted that Iranian aircraft previously faced refueling issues in Turkey during prior periods of sanctions, and negotiations are ongoing to minimize international flight restrictions. Flights to China also remain active according to scheduled timetables.
