Iran Justice Shares: Backdated dividends paid to 1.57 million shareholders

The Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran has announced the disbursement of accumulated Justice Shares dividends and associated earnings to approximately 1,572,000 living shareholders. This payment follows the resolution of incomplete banking information within the Sejam (Comprehensive Customer Information System) database.

Valiollah Jafari, Director of Issuer Supervision at the Securities and Exchange Organization, stated that the missing data—primarily unrecorded bank account numbers—was retrieved from relevant authorities, including the Central Bank, following directives from the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and follow-ups by the Supreme Stock Exchange Council.

The payments were processed last Wednesday. Jafari noted that the amount received by each shareholder varies based on the specific value of their individual share portfolio, explaining that dividends for a portfolio with a nominal value of 532,000 Tomans differ from those with a 1,000,000 Toman value.
