Iran Khodro confirms Dongfeng Shine Max hybrid for Iranian market
Iran Khodro has confirmed the addition of the Dongfeng Shine Max hybrid to its imported vehicle lineup in Iran. Following the previous release of the gasoline-only version, the company released promotional materials for the hybrid model to expand its product diversity.
The Shine Max hybrid utilizes a full hybrid system (HEV) that does not require external charging, as the battery is replenished through the engine and energy recovery systems during driving. The powertrain consists of a 1.5-liter turbocharged GDI gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, producing a combined maximum output of 174 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the front wheels via a DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission) gearbox.
The vehicle features a reported combined fuel consumption of approximately 5 liters per 100 kilometers. Interior highlights include a 10.25-inch multimedia display, a wireless phone charger, and a panoramic sunroof. While the model's arrival is confirmed, official details regarding pricing, sales methods, and delivery timelines have not yet been released.
