Iran launches martyr-themed educational programs in schools

Educational authorities in Iran are launching new cultural initiatives to integrate the legacy of martyrs into the school system at the start of the new academic year. In Alborz province, a national plan titled ‘Martyr Ambassadors’ will allow educators to select a specific martyr—ideally a student or teacher from their own region—to serve as a behavioral and lifestyle role model for students.

In Tehran, officials from the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs are participating in the ‘Bell of Sacrifice’ ceremony. This event marks the beginning of the school year in ‘Shahid’ schools, aimed at promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom among the younger generation. The programs include the development of cultural products, the creation of memorials in schools, and the implementation of educational themes based on leadership concepts provided by the Supreme Leader.
