Iran lifts export bans on 24 agricultural products
The Ministry of Jihad Agriculture's Trade Development Deputy has released the seventeenth list of tariff codes exempted from agricultural export bans. Following an assessment of the domestic market, the Trade Development Organization of Iran notified the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran that 24 specific tariff codes are no longer subject to the export prohibitions outlined in chapters 1 through 24 of the Export and Import Regulations.
The exempted products include tilapia, various types of fish and fish fillets, shrimp, chicory, cucumber, asparagus, eggplant, various types of melons, date pits, rock candy and various types of candy, yufka bread, pizza, pizza bread, and various types of cold sauces. This directive remains in effect until further notice.
