Iran observes Sacred Defense Week with national ceremonies

Various ceremonies and public gatherings are being held across Iran to commemorate Sacred Defense Week.

In Varamin, Chief Justice Mohammad Jafar Montazeri addressed the importance of national unity against hybrid warfare, noting that enemies are targeting the culture and beliefs of Iranian youth. He also addressed economic issues, attributing some to sanctions and others to mismanagement.

In Kurdistan, officials in Dehgolan visited the families of martyrs to honor their sacrifices, while in Sanandaj, a continuous series of public gatherings reached its 208th night, with citizens emphasizing social cohesion and national security.

Other commemorative events included a memorial for martyrs in Lerini, a ceremony at the Behesht Zahra cemetery in Tehran, and the opening of a military equipment and insight exhibition in Boomen.
