Iran military rejects Trump's threats to 'destroy' the nation

The Iranian military has dismissed threats from U.S. President Donald Trump to “destroy” the Islamic Republic, characterizing the rhetoric as a sign of “strategic frustration” rather than strength.

Following Trump’s address to the United Nations General Assembly, where he warned of severe consequences for any new military actions against the U.S. or its allies, the Iranian General Staff issued a statement through the Mehr news agency. The military leadership accused the U.S. President of using the international platform to “justify aggression” and claimed his stance reflects a state of “strategic stalemate.”

Iranian officials warned that their armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any potential attacks from the United States or Israel. The statement emphasized that any future military response would be “far more tremendous” and more unpredictable than previous engagements.
