Iran Ministry of Health announces aid for war-damaged medical sectors
The Iranian Ministry of Health has announced a plan to provide financial facilities and support to sectors impacted by war. According to Omid Hajati, head of the Ministry's Economic Coordination Center, the initiative aims to support knowledge-based companies involved in the production of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
The program focuses on two primary pillars: the modernization and equipping of pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies damaged by conflict, and the reconstruction, completion, and equipping of medical service centers. Special emphasis is being placed on developing centers for treating specific diseases, particularly in the country's disadvantaged regions.
Following the allocation of provincial and national credits under the 1405 budget law, the Ministry will issue payment instructions to medical science universities in various provinces. Eligible applicants will be able to register their requests through the Ministry of Economy's online employment and entrepreneurship portal.
