Iran Ministry of Health seeks investors for unfinished hospitals

The Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education has issued a call for investors to participate in the completion, equipping, and operation of unfinished state-owned hospital projects. The initiative aims to leverage non-governmental capacities to accelerate the delivery of healthcare services and optimize existing infrastructure.

Eligible legal entities with the necessary financial and technical expertise in hospital construction, equipment installation, and medical facility management may express their preliminary interest. Participation models may include public-private partnerships (PPP) tailored to the specific requirements of each project, covering construction completion, equipment procurement, or full facility management.

Interested parties must submit documentation regarding their company profiles, medical project experience, financial capabilities, and technical expertise. The deadline for expressing preliminary interest is November 1, 2026. The Ministry clarified that this call is intended to identify potential investors and create a database; it does not constitute a formal commitment to award contracts or accept specific proposals at this stage.
