Iran Ministry of Interior ready for fully electronic elections

Iran’s Minister of Interior, Eskandar Momeni, has announced that the Ministry of Interior is fully prepared to conduct upcoming elections for cities and villages entirely through electronic means as soon as the legal timeframe is officially declared.

In a message marking Government Week, Momeni highlighted the ministry's role in coordinating executive agencies and managing local governance. He noted that the ministry has worked to maintain internal security and ensure the continuous supply of essential goods and infrastructure development during challenging periods. He also emphasized the importance of provincial governors in accelerating decision-making and problem-solving across the country.
