Iran missile strikes hit Saudi Arabia and Qatar as US‑Iran tensions flare

Iran has stepped up its military actions in the Middle East, launching missile attacks against Saudi Arabia while Houthi rebels, backed by Tehran, fired rockets at Saudi territory. At the same time, the United States Central Command reported strikes on Iranian targets.

A separate Iranian missile hit Qatar, injuring three people, including a child. Qatar’s foreign ministry condemned the attack as a clear violation of its sovereignty and international law, calling it “an escalatory act that endangers regional security.”
