Iran mocks Donald Trump following US drone seizure claim

The Iranian Embassy in Tunisia has used a Bollywood meme featuring actor Akshay Kumar to mock US President Donald Trump amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran. The diplomatic mission posted the sarcastic content on X, referencing the capture of a US unmanned underwater drone near the Strait of Hormuz, rising oil prices nearing $100, and the upcoming US elections.

The incident follows claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that Iranian naval forces seized a US unmanned submarine at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz on September 8. The IRGC described the seizure as a “complex intelligence and operational action,” releasing images and video to support their claim of the capture.
