The Iranian national volleyball team, under head coach Roberto Piazza, has announced a 15-player roster for its upcoming training camp. This group will undergo intensive training to finalize a 14-player squad for the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. The team is scheduled to depart for a preparatory camp in Russia, where they will compete in an international tournament against Russia, Cuba, and Belarus, followed by friendly matches against Dynamo club.
In handball, the Iranian men's national team is undergoing a generational transition under coach Nenad Klaič. Captain Mohammad Siavashi noted that the team is currently in its third training phase in Tehran before heading to Serbia for crucial preparations ahead of the Asian Games in Nagoya. Despite being placed in a challenging Group B alongside Bahrain, Kuwait, South Korea, and Kazakhstan, the team aims to advance, noting that the tournament format allows the top four teams from the five-team group to progress to the quarterfinals.
