Preparation efforts have been hampered by scheduling conflicts between the tournament and domestic league fixtures. Major clubs, including Tractor and Esteghlal, have indicated they may not release players due to overlapping commitments in the Persian Gulf Pro League and the AFC Champions League. This has left the team's training camp and roster status in uncertainty.

To bolster the squad, coach Hossein Abdi is considering utilizing adult player quotas to include experienced names such as goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand and forward Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh.
