Iran poultry production remains stable in Hamedan and Kermanshah
Poultry production in the Iranian provinces of Hamedan and Kermanshah is meeting local demand and contributing to national supply. In Hamedan, officials report that 22.48 million chicks have been distributed since the beginning of the year, resulting in the production of approximately 41,885 tons of chicken meat. Authorities state that measures are in place to ensure no shortages occur through the end of December.
In Kermanshah, poultry production exceeds local consumption. The province exports between 50 to 80 tons of packaged chicken daily to Tehran and other provinces in need. To prevent losses for producers during periods of surplus, the Livestock Support Company has been involved in purchasing excess poultry at appropriate prices for storage. Officials noted that livestock feed reserves in the region remain in a favorable condition.
