Iran President Raisi Rejects Resignation Claims

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi publicly denied circulating rumors that he intended to resign, stating, “If I wanted to resign, I would announce it. I will continue in office.” He emphasized that any suggestion of a split between the government and the Supreme Leader is false and intended to create division.

Deputy director of the presidential office, Mehdi Tabatabaei, also refuted the reports on social media, calling the claims “complete lies” and accusing those spreading them of acting as puppets of Iran’s enemies.

The denial follows earlier speculation about a possible rift between Raisi and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which the administration has repeatedly dismissed as unfounded.
