Iran rebuilds missile arsenal as US-Iran diplomatic window closes
A period of diplomatic engagement between the United States and Iran has concluded without a comprehensive agreement, coinciding with a significant rebuilding of Iran’s military capabilities. Reports indicate that Iran is actively repairing damaged infrastructure, restoring missile launch capabilities, and increasing the production of drones and other weaponry.
Satellite imagery and reports suggest Iran is restoring access to underground missile facilities and upgrading launchers. Additionally, there are indications that Iran may be receiving air-defense missile launchers from China to bolster its defensive network.
In a recent development, the United Arab Emirates confirmed that its air defenses detected two ballistic missiles from Iran, marking the first such threat detected in over a month. Meanwhile, regional partners and the United States continue to replenish precision weapons and air-defense interceptors, while Israel has accelerated the production of its own aerial munitions and interceptors.
