Iran Says Drone Production Tripled Amid Recent Conflict

Iran’s acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ibn al‑Reza, announced that the country’s drone manufacturing capacity was increased threefold during the recent “Ramadan War.” He said the defence industry operated continuously throughout the fighting, citing sustained investment in advanced technologies and domestic expertise. The minister claimed more than 150 major international technology companies supported the United States and Israel with advanced capabilities, prompting Tehran to update its database of enemy vulnerabilities. He described Iran’s armed forces as having responded rapidly with innovative tactics that surpassed those used in the earlier twelve‑day conflict, and called for further strengthening of the defence sector through higher spending and faster acquisition of new technologies.
