Iran security forces arrest several Kurdish individuals in Ilam and Piranshahr

Security forces in Iran have reportedly conducted several arbitrary arrests of Kurdish individuals in the Ilam and Piranshahr regions. In Ilam, Younes Bakri, Yasir Hawasi, and Ruhulla Ghulam were detained and moved to an unknown location without legal justification or access to legal counsel.

In Piranshahr, two former political detainees, Soran Mahmoudi and Mohammad Daneshmaya, were also arrested and transferred to undisclosed locations. Mahmoudi had previously served a three-year prison sentence for alleged membership in an opposition Kurdish party. Security forces have not provided official explanations regarding the motives or charges behind these recent detentions.
