Iran threatens consequences for nations supporting US economic war

Iran has threatened consequences for any nation that assists the United States in its economic pressure against Tehran. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Bakaei stated that complicity in America’s aggressive measures against Iran will lead to definitive repercussions.

This warning follows an announcement by US President Donald Trump of a comprehensive economic war against Iran, which he described as the most devastating economic operation in history. Trump also threatened enormous sanctions against any country that continues to support Iran or conducts business with the nation.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has characterized the upcoming strategy as the largest financial offensive ever mobilized by the United States against an opponent. In response, Iranian Vice Foreign Minister Kasem Gharibabadi argued that the intensity of the US campaign contradicts claims that Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities have been neutralized.
