Iran Deploys Faster, Stealthier Hadid 110 Drone

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps unveiled an upgraded version of its Hadid 110 unmanned aerial vehicle. The new model flies lower, reaches speeds above 500 km/h, and incorporates stealth features that reduce radar visibility. Powered by a turbo‑jet engine launched by a solid‑fuel booster, it can carry a 30‑kg warhead, has a range of roughly 350 km and an endurance of about one hour.

The drone is designed to penetrate U.S. air‑defence systems and has been used in the past two weeks against American bases and naval vessels in the region. Iranian officials present the system as a wholly domestically produced weapon, underscoring Tehran's effort to showcase resilience despite long‑standing sanctions.
