Iran warns Beirut and southern suburbs are a “red line”

Mohsen Rezaei, a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and member of the Expediency Discernment Council, has issued a warning regarding military actions in Lebanon. Rezaei stated that Beirut and its southern suburbs represent a “red line” for Tehran, asserting that no one has the right to move toward these areas.

These warnings come amid escalating Israeli military operations in southern Lebanese towns, including Nabatieh Al-Fawqa and Baraashit. The statements reflect heightened Iranian rhetoric as regional tensions rise between Iran, Israel, and the United States.
