Iran warns US and Israel that military action will not change its policy

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi has declared that Tehran will not alter its political stance even if military hostilities with the United States and Israel are renewed. Speaking on state television, Aragchi responded to recent warnings from US President Donald Trump regarding potential renewed military interventions against Iran.

Aragchi emphasized that regardless of whether a new war occurs, Iran's policies remain steadfast. He noted that previous military actions by the US did not achieve different results and warned that any further attempts would yield similar outcomes. He also suggested that the regional landscape has fundamentally changed, specifically noting that maritime routes through the Strait of Hormuz will no longer function as they did previously.

In a separate development, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that Iranian air defense systems downed a US unmanned aerial vehicle over the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, though specific details regarding the drone or the US response have not been confirmed.
