Iran wins four medals at International AI Olympiad

The Iranian national team achieved significant success at the third International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI 2026), held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 2 to August 8, 2026.

The four-member team secured a total of four medals: one gold, two silver, and one bronze. Shayan Rezazadeh earned the gold medal, while Mohammadreza Darvishi and Mohammadamin Nazmfar each won silver medals. Mani Manjipour secured the bronze medal.

This performance marks an improvement over the previous IOAI held in Beijing, China, where the Iranian team earned two silver and two bronze medals. The competition featured more than 500 talented students from around the world.
