Iranian Air Defense Force to scale up domestic systems

Alireza Elhami, commander of the Iranian Army Air Defense Force, announced that the military is scaling up the production of domestic defense systems that proved effective during recent conflicts.

Elhami noted that lessons learned from a 12-day conflict were applied during a subsequent 40-day conflict, resulting in increased effectiveness. He stated that the air defense forces successfully intercepted a significant number of strategic drones and enemy fighter jets.

According to the commander, the military is now focusing on utilizing 100 percent Iranian-made technology, expertise, and knowledge to produce new equipment and refine tactics, system deployment, and organizational structures based on recent combat experiences.
