Iran car market sees record prices for luxury and electric models

Prices for a wide range of vehicles in Iran have risen sharply. Domestic brands Saipa and Iran Khodro listed their latest market and dealership prices for models such as the Saipa Quick, Atlas, Shahin, Zamyad and China‑made Changan, with many models now priced between 1.2 billion and 2.6 billion toman. Iran Khodro’s lineup, including the Peugeot 207, Dena, and various hexa‑engine variants, showed similar high‑price ranges.

Imported luxury cars have reached new highs. A BMW 735i sedan is advertised at 115 billion toman, with a 45‑day delivery option reducing the price to about 90 billion toman. Other premium imports such as Lexus LX, Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol have been reported in the 60‑100 billion toman range.

The price of the electric Volkswagen ID.4 Pro has also jumped, now costing 8.97 billion toman—up from 6.79 billion toman in May—marking a 32 percent increase and placing the model among the most expensive imported vehicles. These trends underline accelerating price pressure across both domestic and imported vehicle segments in Iran's automotive market.
