Iranian commander dismisses claims of US ground attack

An Iranian commander has dismissed international reports suggesting the United States is planning a ground invasion of Iran, labeling such claims as ‘imaginary.’ Speaking to Tasnim News Agency, the commander asserted that despite recent conflicts involving the US and Israel that resulted in the deaths of several Iranian commanders and generals, the operational capacity and authority of the Iranian armed forces remain intact.

The commander stated that border guards are fully prepared and that the country’s borders remain secure and stable. These remarks follow international media reports alleging that US strikes on civilian infrastructure, including bridges and passages in southern Iran, were intended to facilitate a ground assault. Additionally, US President Donald Trump had previously expressed intentions regarding the seizure of Hark Island, a major oil terminal in the Persian Gulf.
