Iranian companies report significant growth in sales and credit operations

Several Iranian companies and financial institutions have reported significant performance metrics for the recent fiscal periods.

Bank Saderat Iran reported a substantial increase in credit operations, with interest income from loans reaching approximately 78,433 billion tomans in the five months leading up to August. This represents a 68% increase compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the bank provided over 180,000 billion rials in interest-free loans to support various sectors, including housing, marriage, and employment, with employment-related loans benefiting 19,500 individuals.

In the industrial sector, Etekhad Electronic Arman Industrial Group recorded total sales of 23,000 billion tomans over an eight-month period. The company saw a 144% increase in its average sales rate, driven largely by its cooling products such as refrigerators and freezers, which saw 155,000 units supplied to the market.

Other corporate updates include Lia Special Materials Company, which achieved a 64% annual revenue growth to 374 billion tomans, focusing exclusively on 50g tissue products. Meanwhile, Eftekhar Saham Investment Company reported that its stock portfolio value rose to 711 billion tomans by the end of August, following a monthly profit of approximately 9 billion tomans from securities trading.
