Iranian drug suspect Kasra Ashrafi captured in Bodrum, Turkey

Turkish police from Muğla and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) jointly arrested Iranian national Kasra Ashrafi in Bodrum after Interpol listed him on a red notice for drug trafficking. Fatima Dhahri, who was also present at the location, was taken into custody.

A search of the premises yielded 45,000 euros in cash, a cold crypto‑wallet, gold jewelry, two wristwatches, six mobile phones and other valuables. Ashrafi was transferred to judicial authorities and placed in pre‑trial detention. Dhahri faces a ban on entering Turkey for alleged drug‑production and sales offences and remains under investigation.
