Iranian lawmakers urge industrial support to boost employment

Iranian Members of Parliament are calling for increased support for industrial production and the reduction of bureaucratic hurdles to stimulate economic growth and employment.

In Ardabil, MP Ahad Bioote emphasized the importance of supporting manufacturing units, specifically highlighting the Arta Pharma factory. He noted that local pharmaceutical production is vital for meeting health needs, reducing import dependency, and creating jobs for youth. Bioote urged provincial officials to remove obstacles for investors and utilize private sector capacities to ensure sustainable development.

In Kermanshah, MP Abdolreza Masri addressed the employment and investment working group, warning that excessive bureaucracy must not drive away investors. He advocated for timely decision-making by local managers to avoid unnecessary delays caused by referring provincial issues to national authorities. Masri also suggested reforming financing processes, proposing that banks utilize diverse collateral such as raw materials and production quotas to prevent economic opportunities from being lost to delays.
