Iranian military officials defend missile capabilities and warn of economic warfare

Iranian military officials have emphasized the resilience of the nation's armed forces and the importance of national unity in facing both military and economic threats.

Major General Amir Hatami, Commander of the Army and member of the Supreme National Security Council, stated that during recent conflicts, Iranian missiles and drones were deployed until the final moments to defend the country. He noted that while some equipment and locations sustained damage, the military successfully prevented adversaries from achieving their objectives and caused damage to enemy strategic assets, including unmanned and manned aircraft.

In a separate address, Member of Parliament Allah Bayati highlighted that following military failures, adversaries have shifted focus toward economic warfare. He noted that increased economic pressures, including challenges with oil sales and rising costs for goods and fuel, require coordinated responsibility between the government, the military, and the public to maintain stability.
