Iranian official emphasizes defense capabilities as pillar of national security

Seyyed Esmail Tabatabaei, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the Karbala Regional Headquarters of the IRGC Ground Forces, stated that the country's defense authority and the comprehensive readiness of the armed forces serve as a strong foundation for national security.

Speaking during a meeting with the family of martyr Seyyed Alireza Seyyednoor, Tabatabaei asserted that Iran's military and defense power has reached a level of progress capable of neutralizing any enemy miscalculations. He attributed this strength to reliance on domestic capabilities, indigenous technologies, and the faith of the fighters.

Tabatabaei also highlighted the role of the public in protecting the achievements of the Islamic Revolution, noting that the active presence of citizens in various social and political scenes acts as a barrier against hybrid warfare and external pressures intended to undermine the nation's sovereignty.
