Iranian religious leaders praise President's UN speech

Religious leaders in Kashan and Qom have expressed support for the Iranian President following his recent address to the United Nations General Assembly.

In Kashan, Imam Jomeh Seyed Saeed Hosseini praised the President's performance in New York, noting his response to criticisms from figures like Donald Trump. Hosseini highlighted the President's use of imagery of the Supreme Leader during his speech to counter allegations against Iran.

In Qom, Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Saeedi described the President's speech as a reflection of the Iranian people's resilience. He specifically commended the President for addressing the disparity between Israel's nuclear capabilities and the international inspection processes regarding Iran's nuclear program. Saeedi argued that the speech combined political logic with a defense of rights, asserting that the Iranian nation is a victim of terrorism rather than a perpetrator.
