Iranian shipping and mining firms release annual financial reports
Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) has released its 12-month financial statements for the period ending June 2026. The company reported a net profit of 3,843 billion tomans, representing a 71% decrease compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share also fell by 71% to 331 rials. Despite this decline in profitability, the company saw a 43% increase in operating revenues, reaching 11,301 billion tomans. The drop in net profit is primarily attributed to a 67% decline in dividend income from its subsidiaries.
Separately, Sadr Tamin Investment Company (Tasico) published its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending May 2026. The mining holding company reported consolidated operating revenues of 40.5 trillion rials, a 17% increase from the previous year. Tasico's consolidated net profit stood at 8.55 trillion rials, with basic earnings per share at 1,001 rials. The company's individual operating revenues were reported at 5.4 trillion rials, with a net profit of 4.28 trillion rials.
