Iranian speaker Qalibaf and Iraqi PM al‑Zaydi pledge cooperation against Zionist regime

Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf met Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Fadhil al‑Zaydi in Tehran, thanking Iraq for hosting the funeral processions of Iran's supreme leader during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. Both leaders highlighted the long‑standing ties between Tehran and Baghdad and said their cooperation is essential for regional stability and for defending the unity of Islamic countries.

Qalibaf labeled the Zionist regime as the "number one enemy" of all Muslim nations, urging joint action to counter its influence. Al‑Zaydi echoed the sentiment, describing Iran and Iraq as partners sharing a common destiny and stressing that their collaboration can help resolve many regional challenges.
