Iran's Ambassador to Turkmenistan discusses potential Pezeshkian-Putin meeting

Ali Mojtaba Rozbahani, the Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, has expressed support for a potential meeting between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting could take place in October on the sidelines of the Avaza national tourism meetings in Turkmenistan.

Rozbahani noted that while such a meeting would be a significant event, its occurrence depends on the finalized schedule and political agenda. He added that preliminary work is underway to organize the President's visit to Turkmenistan. Additionally, the Ambassador addressed tensions with the United States, stating that certain economic warfare measures by Washington conflict with existing understandings.

In economic developments, the Ambassador also announced that foreign companies, raw material suppliers, and financial brokers can now register to participate in the Turkmenistan State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange. The registration process can be completed online or in person, provided that legal documents are translated into the official language of Turkmenistan and verified by authorized translation services.
