Iran's Ministry of Interior seeks to boost women's roles in decision-making
Parvin Dadandish, head of the Center for Women and Family Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, emphasized the need to strengthen the role of women in decision-making processes during a meeting with female advisors in Gilan.
Dadandish highlighted the strategic importance of women's participation in various sectors, specifically noting their potential to assist in national energy management. She stated that the ministry is working to utilize the capacity of women, including homemakers, to help manage energy consumption through a network of female managers and advisors.
Currently, there are approximately 670 female advisors working across various government agencies. The initiative aims to leverage their specialized and managerial expertise to address national issues, including the sensitive situation regarding energy consumption in northern provinces.
