Iran's Supreme Leader calls for compensation following US-Israeli attacks
Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has called for serious efforts to pursue the rights of the Iranian people and secure compensation for damages caused by US and Israeli attacks. During a meeting with Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, Khamenei emphasized the need for a transformation in the judicial apparatus, including fighting corruption and ensuring the timely enforcement of rulings.
The call for compensation follows joint attacks launched by Israel and the United States on Tehran and other Iranian cities on February 28. In response to those strikes, Iran conducted missile and drone attacks against Israeli and US assets in the region and restricted movement in the Strait of Hormuz.
Separately, US President Donald Trump has suggested the possibility of renewed military strikes against Iran, stating that the United States could potentially seize the country's oil or take control of the nation.
