Mojtaba Khamenei calls for Muslim unity against US and Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a written message calling for unity among Muslim nations to confront the United States and Israel, whom he identified as the “real enemy” of the Islamic Ummah. The message, released during Islamic Unity Week, emphasizes that internal divisions among Muslims serve the interests of adversaries seeking to weaken the region.

Khamenei, who has not been seen in public since succeeding his father, Ali Khamenei, following airstrikes that killed the former leader six months ago, also addressed the Iranian people. He urged them to maintain social cohesion and avoid any actions that cause internal conflict. Additionally, he called for the progressive de-dollarisation of the Iranian economy and the strengthening of domestic production to bolster economic stability.

The leader’s remarks come amid heightened regional tensions, following Iranian strikes on U.S. military facilities and infrastructure in several Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain.
