Iran hosts Hamas delegation and foreign influencers at Supreme Leader Khamenei's funeral
During the funeral of Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Hamas political office chief Mohamed Darwish and senior members met Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Reza Zarif and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf. The Hamas delegation offered condolences, praised Iran's support for Palestine and reiterated that Iran has no peace with the United States and will not recognize Israel, while discussing the implementation of the recent Iran‑US memorandum.
Iran's cultural organization also invited roughly 400 foreign bloggers and influencers—including individuals from the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Lebanon, Libya and the Balkans—to cover the ceremony. Their videos emphasized large public turnout and portrayed broad popular support for the regime, aligning with Iran’s strategy of using foreign‑aligned voices to bolster its official narrative abroad.
