Iran Leader Mojtaba Khamenei meets Judiciary Chief

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, held a meeting with the Head of the Judiciary, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei. The meeting, which marks a rare public engagement for Khamenei since he assumed leadership in March following the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, focused on several key judicial and social objectives.

Discussions centered on strengthening the Islamic system’s social capital by promoting justice, safeguarding citizenship rights, and conducting an effective fight against corruption. The leaders emphasized the need for a comprehensive transformation of the judiciary, including the acceleration of digital processes to reduce costs and improve the precision of rulings.

Additionally, the meeting addressed the necessity of rapid and deterrent enforcement of court decisions. The officials also discussed seeking reparations for material and moral damages resulting from actions attributed to the United States and Israel.
