Irapuato to host Day of the Dead themed night race

Irapuato will host the ‘Corre entre la vida y la memoria’ night race on October 31, 2026. The event is designed to combine physical activity with Day of the Dead celebrations, allowing participants to wear costumes or accessories related to Halloween or the traditional Mexican holiday.

Organized by the Municipal Commission for Sport and Youth Attention (Comudaj), the race will take place in the city's Historic Center starting at 6:30 p.m. Participants can choose from three distances: 650 meters, 3 kilometers, and 7 kilometers. Registration is available online or in person, with early bird pricing in September and standard pricing throughout October.
