Iraqi Parliament to debate key bills in upcoming legislative sessions

The Iraqi Parliament is scheduled to hold two legislative sessions to debate and review several key bills and amendments. The first session will involve the first reading of the Bill on Supporting Doctors and the Bill on Granting Employees Extended Leave, as well as the second reading of amendments to the Iraqi Jurists Union Law and the Lawyers Law.

The second session will include the first reading of the Bill on Recovering Proceeds from Corruption. Additionally, lawmakers will conduct second readings for amendments to the Notaries Public Law and the Minors’ Welfare Law, while also discussing various parliamentary committee reports.
