IRCA Group expands workforce to 2,400 amid international growth

IRCA Group, a company specializing in ingredients and solutions for pastry, chocolate, gelato, and professional bakery, has expanded its workforce from 400 to 2,400 employees in recent years. The group, founded in Gallarate in 1919, maintains a significant presence in Italy, with approximately 1,000 employees based there, including 700 located between Gallarate and Vergiate.

In addition to its domestic operations, the group has seen substantial international growth, particularly in the United States, where it has acquired facilities across four states. To manage this rapid scaling, the company has focused heavily on professional development. Massimo Cestaro, the group's human resources manager, noted that training was a primary challenge this year, resulting in a tripling of training hours to enhance talent and skills.
