IRCTC announces recruitment for Tourism Monitor positions

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced recruitment for nine Tourism Monitor positions on a contract basis for a two-year term. The roles include six positions at the corporate office and three for the North Zone.

Selection will be conducted through walk-in interviews held on September 8 and 9, 2026, in Connaught Place, New Delhi. Candidates must be under 35 years of age, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories.

Eligibility requirements include either a three-year bachelor’s degree in tourism, or a three-year degree in any stream combined with a one-year diploma in travel and tourism and one year of relevant experience. Alternatively, candidates may hold a three-year degree with a two-year post-graduate degree or diploma in travel and tourism and two years of relevant experience.

Monthly CTC salaries range from ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 depending on qualifications. Additional benefits may include a daily allowance of ₹350 and medical insurance ranging from ₹1,400 to ₹2,500. Potential posting locations include Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
