Irefes/Sesport wins third consecutive wheelchair basketball title

The Irefes/Sesport women's wheelchair basketball team has secured its third consecutive Brazilian Championship title. Competing in Vitória, the team maintained a perfect record with seven wins in seven games.

In the final match, Irefes/Sesport defeated All Star Rodas-PA with a score of 49 to 34. The victory allows the team to equal All Star Rodas-PA as the most successful club in the competition's history. The squad features several athletes who previously won medals at the Parasul-American Games.

Individual honors included coach Diego Corrêa being named best in the competition, while Geisa Vieira (APP-MG) was the top scorer and Oara Uchoa (Adesul-CE) was named MVP.
